Dryden and the surrounding area have access to some amazing bodies of water and hunting opportunities in Sunset Country. You can venture to Rugby Lake, Lac Seul, Eagle Lake, Indian Lake Chain or stay central to the Wabigoon/Dinorwic Chain of Lakes.
With over 50,000 acres of water, guests–– specifically anglers will appreciate the easily sheltered yet dynamic waters of the Wabigoon/Dinorwic Chain of Lakes. This chain has nine lakes and boasts an incredible multi-species fishery.

You may also wish to explore the lodges of Vermilion Bay or Eagle River but here are some lodges for you to consider closer to the core of Dryden and Wabigoon, Ontario. Where RV camping is available, it is noted in the description. Just like roofed accommodations, it is recommended you call ahead and plan your visit.
Pine Sunset Lodge is on the shores of Dinorwic Lake just east of Wabigoon. This multi-species nirvana is a big draw for anglers and hunters alike. They also have boat caches on several lakes with exceptional lake trout and smallmouth fishing.
This housekeeping lodge has cabins that look to the west for beautiful sunsets while the docks and launch are on the sheltered east side. Pine Sunset Lodge’s main lodge and office host a full tackle shop and an excellent space for their weekly cookout.
Situated on the unique Wabigoon Lake with access to Dinorwic Lake and many remote lakes in the area. This camp boasts a multi-species fish factory and year-round accommodations along with excellent hunting opportunities. Their RV Park features 16 premium lake view and semi lake view private spacious sites approx. 35' wide x 70' long, each site is surrounded and separated by trees to allow campers privacy.
A beautiful lodge located in the center of the Wabigoon/Dinorwic chain of lakes with access to some of the best fishing variety you can imagine. Nine lakes in the chain boast certain species in each one, but Dinorwic and Wabigoon alone offer them all.
Lakes nearby host trophy lake trout fishing and Merkel’s also has an outpost on Little Basket Lake which is known for its pike, walleye, and lakers!
Bonny Bay Camp is another great example of the accessibility fishing in Dryden offers. Amazing angling opportunities offered year-round, Bonny Bay Camp will accommodate your fishing needs.
All inclusive fishing packages come with 17’ Lunds, live wells, up to two dozen minnows a day and much more. Air conditioning is a great plus in their cabins.
On the shores of Rugby Lake, an excellent northern pike and smallmouth bass fishery. This sheltered lake also offers perch and crappie fishing to add an extra bit of panfish fun to your getaway.
Rugby Lake Lodge and Campground are also offering black bear, moose or whitetail deer hunts and open year-round.
Right at the mouth of the narrows entering Wabigoon lake from Dinorwic, this lodge offers you drive-in accessibility between both waterways. Bear Paw Landing offers the multi-species draw all anglers love with a side of catching your new personal best walleye, muskie or crappie!
