Assabaska Ojibway Heritage Park

Assabaska Ojibway Heritage Park offers beautiful natural scenery and a relaxing place to take in all that nature has to offer. Offering a campground, teepee and canoe rentals, laundry facilities, a boat launch, a small store for sundry items and traditional crafts as well as washrooms with shower facilities this is the perfect place to spend a weekend relaxing and disconnecting. If the above wasn’t enough the park also features spectacular sand beaches, picnic areas with shelters, hiking trails, horseshoe pits, and fishing cleaning shelters. A variety of programs that focus on the lifestyles and cultural heritage of the Anishinabe people also take place within the park.

Art Widnall Pool

Seasonally open during the summer months. The Art Widnall Pool features a 25-metre L-shaped outdoor pool, diving board, accessible change rooms, accessible lift, wading pool, spray tree, slide, and stair entry. There are no fees for using the outdoor facilities and a recreational swim schedule can be found on their website!

Anicinabe Park

Anicinabe Park located close to Kenora’s downtown features a full-service campground with over 100 sites suitable for trailers or tents, as well as a public sand beach with a protected swimming area, a wooden dock walkway connecting both shores, a playground, change rooms, BBQ pits & shelter, and a small concession. This park is accessible by vehicle as well as boat as there are docking spaces available. Here you will also find a public boat launch with parking for your vehicle and trailer. Anicinabe Park is the perfect place to enjoy a summer's day by the water!

A beautifully designed, fully licensed golf course! We are open 7 days a week for the entirety of summer. Come by for a casual golfing experience at Dryden’s friendliest course. Also features an ODSA 18 basket disc golf course!

Airport Beach

8th Street Walking and Ski Trail

Take a relaxing stroll, a hike, snowshoe or cross-country skiing in some of Fort France’s more natural beauty. These trails cut through clearings and wooded areas in north Fort Frances, offering some very scenic views. Make sure to watch out for the woodcarvings and other handmade pieces donated by local artisans to the trails.
