Take a relaxing stroll, a hike, snowshoe or cross-country skiing in some of Fort France’s more natural beauty. These trails cut through clearings and wooded areas in north Fort Frances, offering some very scenic views. Make sure to watch out for the woodcarvings and other handmade pieces donated by local artisans to the trails.

Ojibway Park located up Highway 72 just past Dryden is a tranquil and wild retreat on Little Vermilion Lake. Featuring a small campground offering fewer than 50 campsites, a beautiful sandy beach, good swimming and fantastic fishing for smallmouth bass.
