Atikokan Sno-Ho Snowmobile Club
The Atikokan Sno-Ho Snowmobile Club was started in 1967 for the purpose of encouraging winter activities through the use of snowmobiles within the community. In 1984 the club became incorporated as a non-profit organization and became a member of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs. This volunteer board is responsible for over 500 kilometers of trail including a section of the Provincial A Trail. The Sno-Ho holds many events during the year for its 200 club members. Member benefits include organized trail rides, poker derby’s, potluck suppers and periodic newsletters. Everyone who purchases an OFSC season trail permit from the Sno-Ho automatically becomes a club member.

The Atikokan Public Library is located downtown overlooking the picturesque Atikokan River. Educate, entertain and enhance your knowledge at the Atikokan Public Library, here you will find books and resource material for adults and children as well as special programs such as Children's activities, computers, and access to the Internet for the public.
Atikokan Municipal Airport (YIB)
The Atikokan Municipal Airport is well equipped to serve the community and surrounding area, providing day-night, all-weather service with a full range of facilities. The airport offers direct access to a float plane base. There is no scheduled air service to the Atikokan Municipal Airport – charter and personal flights only.
Atikokan Mining Attraction
A local volunteer committee dedicated to preserving the rich mining history of the Atikokan area has established a mining museum. This facility is located right next door to the Atikokan Centennial Museum and houses many artifacts and has a database of over five thousand miner's histories. Throughout the community, visitors will enjoy displays of many large mining artifacts and mining murals.
