The Bronze Back Classic, established in 2007 by the late long-time angler Bob Stapleton, is a two-day Small Mouth Bass Tournament held annually in Kenora, Ontario on beautiful Lake of The Woods.
Bob sadly passed away in 2022 and with his passing, our new Board of Directors decided to continue the tournament in his honour as the “Bronze Back Classic - Bob Stapleton Memorial”.
Bobby’s vision was to put on “A Tournament for the Anglers by the Anglers” with the focus on getting families, friends, local anglers, summer residence, and especially youth involved in this two-day event. With the help of our local sponsors, volunteers and anglers, it is our mission to keep Bob’s Vision alive for many years to come.
