Sun Dec 24 Ice Candle Festival of Lights - Christmas Eve Service
Every year on Christmas Evefor over 25 years thousands of ice candles are lit in the Lake of the Woods cemetery to celebrate the life of lost loved ones! This celebration starts on Christmas Eve with a dedication ceremony and caroling, followed by the lighting of the candles. Over 3,000 candles are made each year with proceeds going towards parks beautification. Bring the family out to see all of the beautiful lights or join in a night tour.
You can take part in the Festival of Lights by purchasing ice candles to be placed at your loved one's grave or a Veteran's grave this holiday season.
Last day to order is Friday, December 1, 2023. Online orders will open on November 1, 2023.
Pick-up starting Monday, December 11, until Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
