Big Game Hunting Guides

The northern Boreal forest is no playground by any means. Giant stands of white pine, black spruce, birch, and poplar, interspersed with thousands of lakes means that there is lots of room for big game animals to roam. The main species targeted by hunters are moose, whitetail deer, and black bears. Predator hunts for timber wolves are becoming increasingly popular with most hunts done during the winter months. We also have excellent grouse hunting and in some areas good duck and geese hunts. To maximize your chance at harvesting a big game animal, we strongly recommend you consider using a hunting guide - at least for the initial few days so they can teach you the ropes of our northern forests, show you evidence of animal activities and dramatically increase the likely hood you'll get an animal.
