Access Two Different Lakes on the Same Day

Mother Rapids Fish Camps offers something other destinations can't, two lakes for the price of one. The lodge and cabins are (literally) nestled between two different lakes - McCusker and Keeper, and they have docks and boats on both lakes! Fish for walleye and pike on Keeper in the morning and try for trophy lake trout and northern pike on McCusker in the afternoon. After a day on the water, enjoy some rest and relaxation in one of their five cabins or spend some time telling fish stories in the floating gazebo.

Accommodations & Amenities

Mother Rapids offers five well-appointed guest cabins centrally located between McCusker and Keeper Lakes. These cabins have everything you need for an enjoyable, seven-day stay, including:

  • WIFI access with Starlink

  • Hot and cold water, shower and flush toilets

  • Knotty pine throughout

  • Comfortable beds for a good night's sleep

  • Modern, comfortable furnishings

Some Facts About Mother Rapids Fish Camps

  • Location Mother Rapids is a remote fly-in fishing camp with 5 guest cabins located on McCusker and Keeper lakes in Northwestern Ontario.
  • Airbase You'll fly into Mother Rapids from our airbase located in Red Lake, Ontario.
  • What species of fish can I catch? You can catch multiple species including walleye, northern pike, lake trout and perch.
  • What packages are available. We sell weekly packages for USD $1500.00 per person. Taxes are not included.
  • What is unique about Mother Rapids? We're unique because you can fish two different lakes the same day from the same spot. There is a dock and fish house on each lake with the cabins in the middle.

Equipped for Your Success

Mother Rapids Fish Camps takes pride in the fleet of boats and motors our guests use to fish. Our camp fleet includes:

  • 16' Lund Fury with 20 HP Mercury
  • 16' Lund WC with 15 HP Mercury
  • 14' Naden with 9.9 HP Honda
  • Kayaks for fun

Part of making it easy on our guests is the fact that we have a separate dock and fish cleaning house on each lake - no long walks. 

Ensuring your comfort and that you have a good time are the top priorities at Mother Rapids Fish Camp. We pay attention to every detail so you don't have to. Guests also have the option of hiring a guide for a day of guided fishing. 

Lund and Naden boats and Mercury and Honda outboards ensure you can get to where you want to go!
