  • Winnipeg River Boat Launch

    The Winnipeg River Launch offers access to both the Winnipeg River and Lake of the Woods featuring two separate boat launches with 15 minute maximum loading and unloading in designated zone and 15 minutes maximum use of the launching ramp. The launch location offers parking for your vehicle and trailer and green space with picnic tables.

    Keewatin Wharf

    The Keewatin Wharf features a public launch with three docks. Dock A and the west side of Dock B can be used as day parking for up to 4 hours while the east side of Dock B and Dock C are leased spots only. Near the wharf, you will find Beatty Park featuring a covered picnic shelter as well as a beautifully landscaped green space perfect for enjoying lunch with your family or friends. Speaking of lunch, right across the road from the wharf and Beatty Park is the Nippers Dockside food stand which serves up some very tasty lunch options!

    Dutchie's Landing

    To access the English River from Ear Falls, start by heading south along either Birch Drive or Aspen Street. Both roads will guide you to Lilac Street. At the end of Lilac Street, you’ll find Dutchie's Landing boat launch, a convenient entry point to the river. The launch features two modern floating docks, designed to facilitate easy and safe boarding as well as disembarking from your boat. Whether you're planning a leisurely day of fishing or exploring the beautiful waterways, Dutchie's Landing provides a great starting point for your adventure.

    Sioux Narrows Government Dock Boat Launch

    The Sioux Narrows Government Dock Boat Launch is conveniently located just behind the Ontario Sport Fishing Center and offers a boat launch with access to a large dock. Daily launch, parking and wharfing fee are $5.00 CAD and can be purchased online.

    West Point Cove Boat Launch

    Municipal boat launches are maintained and operated by the Sioux Lookout Recreation and Culture Department. Whether you are fishing off the dock, launching a boat or just parking, all Municipal Boat Launches require a parking permit.
