Dryden Signature Trail

The Dryden Signature Trail is located on the Wabigoon River in Johnston Park. It follows a gravel pathway with some small, paved sections. Overall, the hike is easy terrain and includes a suspension bridge and some sections with stairs. This trail is ideal for exploring and sightseeing in the community; this trail also connects to other parks and rest areas equipped with sightseeing benches, washrooms and grass loans. The Dryden Signature Trail connects with other community trails, and the combined trails provide access to all four corners of the city.

Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre

The Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Center’s award-winning design allows for multiple uses to provide a venue for musical performances, plays, business/organization meetings, large group training/information sessions and so much more. The Center was designed with the community in mind, the state of the art, high-tech center offers an upscale, affordable, and attractive venue for any function!

Dryden Regional Health Centre

Dryden Regional Health Centre is a 41-bed facility that supports the work of more than 300 staff, including physicians, nurses and volunteers. Visiting is restricted to two (2) visitors per patient. All children visiting must be accompanied by an adult and free of childhood diseases. Parking is available in the front lot of the hospital and in the lot across from the Dryden Area Family Health Team.

Dryden Recreation Complex

TThe Dryden Recreation Complex is a multi-purpose recreational facility which features an arena, pool with a waterslide, fitness centre, an indoor track as well as squash and racquetball courts. The Complex offers a variety of group exercise classes for all levels of fitness, scheduled hockey, skating sessions and public skating as well as a variety of other community-based athletic programming. The Complex also hosts a variety of Dryden's favourite events throughout the year, including Dryden's Annual Winter Festival and MooseFest.

Dryden Public Library

Located in the Wilderness City, the Dryden Public Library is the community's living room and offers a comfortable, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Hours: Sunday (Closed), Monday -Tuesday & Thursday- Friday (9:00pm - 6:00pm), Wednesday (9:00am - 7:00pm), Saturday (9:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 5:00pm)
