There's many exciting things to do and attractions to see in Kenora, the largest city on Lake of the Woods. Start your Kenora vacation at the harbourfront where you'll find a tourist information centre to help you plan your vacation. Take a stroll along the greenbelt on the water to McLeod Park. At McLeod Park, you'll see "Husky the Muskie", a tug boat, beautiful gardens, and the Goodwill Geyser, a huge geyser spouting water every 15 minutes during the summer months. The M.S. Visit the many public beaches in the area where you'll find great sand beaches and playgrounds. The city is a golfer's paradise. Kenora offers two beautiful 18 hole golf courses. Historical buffs will love the Lake of the Woods museum and the Mather Walls Historical House.

Located at the Harbourfront. This ship cruises daily on beautiful Lake of the Woods. Lunch and Dinner cruises are available.
Lake of the Woods Museum
One of the finest small museums in Canada. The museum was established in 1964 to collect, preserve, research, exhibit and interpret objects that best illustrate the founding, settlement and development of the community and area. Today, this well-established museum is home to a varied and intriguing collection of artifacts and local history archives, which serve not only as a basis for the permanent exhibits but also for changing thematic displays and special events. Lake of the Woods Brewing Company
The Lake of the Woods Brewing Company is loacted in Kenora's old firehall. LOWBREWCO makes many flagship beers like Sultana Gold and Forgotten Lake and introduces seasonal beer as well. During the weekends you can book a tour of the beer making process right on site!
Discovery Centre
The Discovery Centre along the shore of Lake of the Woods is not only a visitor information centre but also houses many rotating exhibits or events. While visiting the centre take a walk to the upper level and see some remarkable local art being highlighted on the exhibit walls. There are also multimedia outlets as well as educational interactive displays telling about the history and culture of Lake of the Woods. The building also has a theatre which can accommodate 100 people and has sliding glass panels which open to an outside seating area for musical and theatrical events. The Centre is accessible by boat, has picnic benches and a spectacular view of Lake of the Woods. When visiting, make sure to take advantage of some additional information on Kenora and Northwest Ontario. You will find a variety of brochures, magazine, maps, and helpful and friendly staff. Heritage Townscapes
22 mural depictions history of Kenora. As you walk through the city you'll see the many beautiful murals on the sides of the buildings.
Mather-Walls House
Historical House built by John Mather, a local businessman and philanthropist. Guess what? They say there's a ghost in the house! Operated and run by the Lake of the Woods Historical Society, Mather-Walls is open for tours in the summer months and they often hold Victorian Teas. Check out their Facebook page. Lake of the Woods Railroad Museum
Located on Lakeview Drive at the junction of Highway 596. Order an ice cream next door at Dairy Queen and enjoy it at the benches surrounding the restored caboose.

Keewatin Potholes
These fascinating Potholes are located at 6th street in Keewatin. No one knows for certain, but theory suggests that the holes formed many years ago by erosion caused by fast-moving sediment-laden water.
Reddit Glass Bottle House
This unique little house was built with 15,000 glass bottles in the early 1970s. Myrtle Deverell asked her husband to build her a dollhouse for her increasing collection. The doll collection is still on display today along with an additional glass windmill and “The house of the Three Bears”. The Glass House is located on Highway 658, 20 minutes north of Kenora and is open every day during the summer for self-guided tours.
