Atikokan Bass Classic, Mudfling, Skiing Events & More!

Atikokan is host to many special events and festivals during the year. The remote wilderness of Atikokan and Quetico Provincial Park are perfect for adventure racing and canoeing. Beaten Path Nordic Trails-Sawmill Classic - January 
Travelling through Quetico Park the tour takes skiers through an intimate traditional trail system and across frozen ponds and creeks. Reminiscent of old traditional skiing the tour is not a race and travelling together is encouraged. The Tour is a 24 km loop and is an all-day event. Out of town guests are encouraged to come for the weekend. Skiers are to meet at the log cabin (French Lake Beach Parking). People participating should pack a lunch and drinks for the day. Atikokan Sno-Ho Annual Events - Throughout the winter months. 
The Atikokan Sno-Ho Club conducts various events during the winter.

Beaten Path Ski Club Chocolate Cup Challenge - February 
Various Cross-Country ski races for those of all ages - Bunny, Rabbit, Youth, Adult and Master races. For more info call 807-597-2735.

The Beaten Path Nordic Trails' Cross Quetico Lakes Tour - March 
Return to the roots of cross country skiing. Venture across the enchanting lakes and portages of Quetico Provincial Park. The Cross Quetico Lakes Tour is an anticipated event for many skiers from all over the area. We welcome mushers and skijorers and skiers to join us on a unique adventure. Vintage Iron Auto Club Show N Shine - End of May 
Atikokan's Vintage Iron Auto Club invites you to celebrate our "Show N Shine" event and is scheduled for Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Main Street. For more info, contact Pete Barna at 807-597-1587.

The Atikokan Mudslingers Mudfling 4x4 Races - Near the beginning of August
