Description: We’re hiring two adventurous individuals—perfect for a couple—to join us for the season (mid-May to early October, with flexibility for students). This on-site, remote role involves transporting guests/supplies via off-road vehicles, guiding fishermen, giving lake orientations, maintaining grounds and boats, doing minor repairs, and ensuring guests have a great experience. Requirements: high school diploma, hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, the ability to live and work well with coworkers and supervisors, have experience fishing for fish species of NW Ontario, ability to operate boats and off-road vehicles such as UTVs, be able to operate power tools, able to lift heavy objects. Should have a passion for fishing, the outdoors and tolerate living in a remote location. Candidates must have a positive attitude, attention to detail, be outgoing, and focused on customer satisfaction. Occasionally, you will be required to work long days and up to 60 hours per week (contract includes overtime pay). Previous resort experience is preferred but not required. *Assets (not required): mechanical experience and ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines. First aid and CPR training are also desirable. *Position available only to those legal to work in Canada.

Description: Work directly with the lead/primary dock hand, greet guests on the dock & attend to group arrival/departures, load & unload float-planes, refuel aircraft, carry luggage, outboard motors, gas cans and propane tanks, mix gas, maintain the grounds (grass cutting, weed whipping, garbage collection), general repair/maintenance at lodge & outpost camps, coordinate supplying live bait, clean minnow tanks & boats. Other duties: Assist with bear bait (create stands, prepare, set and maintain bait sites), and collect garbage daily. Dump runs. Fillet fish & fishing guide is ideal (per diem extra for this service). Other duties as required may include washing kitchen dishes and mopping. Carpentry experience a plus. Requirements: Avid interest in the outdoors, ability to work independently, valid driver's license - clean record, capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 100 lbs), self-directed, and easily adaptable to busy and slow times. Be comfortable interacting with guests and staff in a small work environment. This is a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires manual dexterity. It involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. KaBeeLo has a ZERO tolerance for drug use/abuse &/or excessive drinking and activities that negatively impact work functions and camp performance.
