1. General Camp Work/Dockhand – Manotak Lodge (Perrault Falls, ON)

  • Description: Seasonal full-time position at a 4-star resort. Duties include assisting guests, maintaining boats and fish house (must know how to operate boat/motor), cleaning fish (must know how to fillet fish), lawn maintenance, and general camp work such as garbage collection and lawn maintenance. The positions would NOT be limited to the duties above. Carpentry and maintenance skills are a bonus. Must have valid driver's license. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

  • Compensation: $3,000/month + gratuities (room & board included, non-shared living quarters)

2. Server/Housekeeper – Manotak Lodge (Perrault Falls, ON)

  • Description: Work as a server for breakfast and dinner, help bussing tables, prepare packed lunches etc, assist with housekeeping duties and changeover on Saturdays, laundry etc and provide exceptional customer service. Valid driver’s license required. Must be physically able to complete all required job duties efficiently.

  • Compensation: $3,000/month + tips (private staff cabin & meals included)

3. Dock Hand/Maintenance – Winoga Lodge (Sioux Lookout, ON)

  • Description: Duties include cutting grass, pumping gas, checking in guests, and transporting them to the island lodge. Occasional travel to remote outposts for maintenance.

  • Compensation: $18-$22/hr (lodging included at main island location)

  • Start Date: May 5, 2025

4. Fishing Guides – Nordic Point Lodge (Perrault Falls, ON)

  • Description: Guide small groups on fishing excursions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience while sharing knowledge of local waters and fishing techniques.

  • Compensation: $200-$400 per day + tips (room & board provided if needed)

  • Start Date: May 1, 2025

5. Housekeeping/Laundry/Service – Nordic Point Lodge (Perrault Falls, ON)

  • Description: Maintain the lodge’s high standards of cleanliness, assist with breakfast and dinner service, and handle staff laundry.

6. General Labourer – Ross’ Camp (Emo, ON)

  • Description: Duties include bait shop work, groundskeeping, general labour, and rental boat cleaning.

  • Compensation: Starting at $19/hr (room & board available)

7. Camp Housekeeper – Black Moose Outposts (Red Lake, ON)

  • Description: Your key role will include cleaning, preparing, and maintaining cabins - for our new guest arrivals - during a short guest turnover window. You will also assist with minor maintenance, and transport supplies and luggage to remote outposts via floatplane. Requires flexibility, as you will need to be comfortable with a variety of fast-paced housekeeping and general labourer tasks, flexible working days, as well as flying to various work locations on short floatplane flights. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. May-October.

  • Compensation: $22-$28/hr (Living accommodation assistance in Red Lake is provided.)

8. Camp Cook – Black Moose Outposts (Red Lake, ON)

  • Description: Plan and cook meals for guests at remote outposts, manage inventory, and assist with general camp upkeep. This position requires flexibility, as you must be comfortable with various culinary, hospitality and general labourer tasks, flexible seasonal working weeks, customer service excellence, and flying to an outpost and staying on site. Participate in minor camp and equipment maintenance and general property upkeep as needed. Assist with supplies and luggage transport. Work alongside housekeepers and pilots to load and unload supplies, luggage, and equipment. May-October.

  • Compensation: $32-$38/hr (Living accommodations at the outposts are provided.)

6. Housekeeper/Cleaning/Cabin/Server – Bow Narrows Camp (Red Lake, ON)

  • Description: Depending on experience, you will be responsible for or assist with some or all of the following: cabin cleaning/kitchen cleaning, lifting 22kg repeatedly at times, unloading gear and supplies, participating in training programs, pitching in with other camp activities, and working at a remote location for 4-5 months. Internet access is limited. There is access to a camp phone.

  • Compensation: $1000 week+gratuiries/more based on experience

6. Housekeeper (1-2 positions) – Browns’ Clearwater West Lodge (Atikokan, ON)

  • Description: Come work in the "Caribbean of the North" and enjoy breathtaking NW Ontario while working to provide a safe and clean place for guests. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment. As required, occasional outdoor maintenance and other tasks (e.g. raking, sweeping, painting). Previous experience preferred, but not required. Will train. Staff housing available.
