Anicinabe Park located close to Kenora’s downtown features a full-service campground with over 100 sites suitable for trailers or tents, as well as a public sand beach with a protected swimming area, a wooden dock walkway connecting both shores, a playground, change rooms, BBQ pits & shelter, and a small concession. This park is accessible by vehicle as well as boat as there are docking spaces available. Here you will also find a public boat launch with parking for your vehicle and trailer. Rahill Beach, located just off Highway 125 between Balmertown and Cochenour is the perfect place to spend a sunny summer day relaxing with family and friends, featuring a well-maintained sandy beach, playground, fire pits, BBQs, covered picnic areas and washrooms.

Coney Island, only accessible by boat in the summer, is just a short boat ride from downtown Kenora. This beach on Lake of the Woods has a playground, concession stand, public docks, a large grassy area for many outdoor sports, and a shelter for picnics. It is also home to the "Maybe Annual" Coney Island Music Festival. Shuttles to the beach are offered from the Kenora Habroufront docks.
