Townshend Theatre
The Townshend Theatre is located in the Fort Frances High School on McIrvine Road. The theatre seats 430 people and is fully equipped to provide both users and the viewing public with an exceptional cultural experience. Tomahawk Lighthouse Museum
The Tomahawk Lighthouse is Morson’s oldest landmark. Built in the 1900s, the lighthouse helped safely steer watercraft from Kenora to Rainy River ports. It was operated by lighthouse keepers until its automation in 1946. In 1963, it was restored becoming an important landmark and it was moved to its present location at the end of Lighthouse Road, where it has been converted to a museum with artifacts pertaining to early lake travel.

With over 10 kilometers of navigable waterways, local rowers enjoy a variety of picturesque routes that showcase the natural beauty of the area. Since 1906, the Thunder Bay Rowing Club has proudly participated as a member of the NorthWest International Rowing Association, contributing to the region's vibrant rowing community. Additionally, the club serves as the home base for the Lakehead University Rowing Team, nurturing the next generation of rowers and fostering a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
