Ghost Lake Beach
The beach at Ghost Lake is a perfect place to enjoy a sunny summer day. The sandy beach area offers great daytime use for swimming and picnics and easy access to water sports like kayaking and canoeing. The area features parking, picnic areas, walking paths, washrooms, and a boat launch.
Garrow Park
Garrow Park is found on Rabbit Lake at end of Birchwood Crescent, just minutes from downtown. There is a beautiful beach with docks, a playground, washrooms, change rooms, picnic area, and tennis courts. There are nature trails leading to St. Thomas Aquinas School and along the south shore of the lake. The Kenora Rowing Club is also based here.

Fort William Gardens
The Fort William Gardens is in operation year-round. Ice rental is provided seven days a week from September to April. Special Events can be scheduled year round with the ability to cover the ice with flooring. The Fort William Curling Club ice surface area is also available for rent from May to September. Now located in the old Taggs Source for Sports building at 242 Scott St in Fort Frances, the Fort Frances Salvation Army is here for you. Conducting Christian church services and prayer meetings as well as providing community services including a food bank and thrift store.

The Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre is a public library serving Fort Frances and the Rainy River District, with over 50 thousand books, movies, and other items to borrow and over 100 thousand items available to download online.
