Hailing from the Sandy Lake First Nation and now based in Toronto, Aysanabee’s journey is as inspiring as his music. With hit singles like “Nomads” and “Somebody Else,” he’s making waves in the indie music scene. In March 2024, he made history by becoming the first Indigenous artist to win JUNO Awards for Alternative Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year for his EP *Here and Now*. His debut album, *Watin*, a heartfelt homage to his grandfather, was shortlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize.
