Gullrock Lake's surface area is 16,707 acres, and it is part of a chain of five lakes. Red Lake is the headwaters of this system. Water flows into Keg Lake, then Gullrock Lake. Ranger Lake and Gullrock Lake flow into Two Island Lake. The system then enters the Chukuni River and English River systems. The route was used by early fur traders and gold prospectors.
Fishing Gullrock Lake
Gullrock Lake is primarily a walleye lake but offers excellent northern pike, sauger, yellow perch & whitefish fishing. The lake has a varied, structured bottom, featuring rocky points, sandbars, mud bottoms, gravel beds, sunken islands, and many weedy bays. The perfect fish habitat. To preserve the high quality of fishing on the Gullrock Chain of Lakes, the policy of the Gullrock Camp Owners Association is that any walleye over 18" or any northern pike over the maximum slot size of 35.4" be released unharmed immediately. No oversized fish can be cleaned for eating.
