The English River System is comprised of the Winnipeg River, English River, Swan Lake, Tetu Lake & Eagle's Nest Lake. The shoreline is rocky with stained water. Fast flowing water with narrow channels and quiet bays are sheltered by the surrounding spruce & pine forests. A diverse water system with depths ranging from 200' to 10' hosting an array of structures such as shallow reefs, islands and weed beds. The walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass are the predominant species. Other inhabitants are Perch, Muskie & Whitefish.
