Our fishing packages include deluxe G3 boats, 40HP Yamaha motors, flat floors, swivel seats, live well and fish finders; Keeping you happily spending time on the lake. Being small has its benefits. We get to know our guests and will do our best to ensure your group enjoys staying at Rugby Lake Lodge. Whether your adventure includes the steady action of the walleye and crappie bite or winning that fight to land a large pike or smallmouth bass, fishing Rugby Lake is a lot of fun for all ages.
Perhaps an Ontario hunting trip is on your adventure list. The Rugby Lake area has great hunting opportunities for big or small game. We offer outfitted black bear and whitetail deer hunting.
When not out enjoying the fishing, hunting or natural beauty of the area there are other things to do. Challenge a friend to a game of pool in the games room. There is also a sand beach for swimming and a hiking trail to the picturesque waterfalls. Our camp is only a 1/2 hour drive to Dryden for shopping, dining out or a round of golf. - Cabin Rentals (Housekeeping): We pride ourselves on our clean, comfortable, modern accommodations. We include everything you need in each cottage.
- Walleye: Rugby Lake is one of the greatest walleye fisheries that you can drive to in Northwestern Ontario.
- Northern Pike: Northern pike are the top predators in Rugby Lake. They have perfect habitat with lots of food so they can be found in good number.
- Smallmouth Bass: Smallmouth bass are considered pound-for-pound the hardest fighting freshwater game-fish in North America.
- Perch: Perch fishing is a great way to get young children hooked on fishing and even a lot of fun for adults.
- Crappie: Rugby Lake is a perfect environment for crappie with the shallow weedy bays and both rocky and sandy shorelines.
- Deer: Our trophy whitetail deer hunts have an excellent success rate due to the availability of deer in the area.
- Black Bear: Years of experience combined with our fantastic location gives us the ability to offer one of the best black bear hunts in Ontario.
- Moose: Bull moose hunting is something we have a lot of experience with. We are located in one of the best moose hunting regions.
