Why You'll Love It
Route Lake is approximately 9,000 acres with two 7-mile-long fingers with plenty of sheltered bays. Excellent walleye, northern, bass, and perch fishing. You can also fish three portage lakes off Route Lake. We offer fall bear and grouse hunting.
Six clean fully modern cabins overlooking the lake, 24-hour electricity to charge up your batteries. We provide you with everything you would need, including all linens, towels, and toiletries. There is a clean fish cleaning facility with electricity and water as well as fish wrapping and freezer space. We have live bait, tackle, gas, and ice.
For customers who choose to bring their own boat, a concrete ramp is available.

- Lake Trout: Route Lake is home to an extraordinary population of Lake Trout, with two 7 mile long fingers and 9000 acres of water to explore guests are sure to reel in some big ones.
- Perch: Our main lake, portage lakes, and drive-to lakes feature many shallow bays and weed beds creating the perfect habitat for perch to flourish within.
- Grouse: Located in the heart of Canada's wilderness, our location is optimal for fall grouse hunting. Enjoy grouse hunting in the beautiful backcountry while also taking advantage of some amazing fall fishing.
