Key Features

  • Cabin Rentals (Housekeeping): All of our cozy cabins are air-conditioned with full bathrooms, private decks and all the comforts of home.
  • Walleye: Wabigoon Lake is well known for having monster size walleyes including vast numbers of good eating sizes.
  • Northern Pike: Northern pike here averages 24-36 inches with many 40-44 inch pike caught and released. There a lot of good eating pike in the lake but most guests fish for trophies.
  • Muskie: Wabigoon Lake is one the best muskie hotspots in Ontario. The best places to fish are in/on edges of large water cabbage patches that grow off rocky points leading to deep bays.
  • Smallmouth Bass: Wabigoon Lake was made for smallies. With 50,000 acres of big water and nine adjoining lakes, rocky points, islands, and shoals, this is one of the best smallmouth bass fishing destinations in Ontario.
  • Perch: Perch are easy to catch in Wabigoon Lake. Just drift off weed beds using a tiny spinner or straight hook with a little worm and you will catch them. They will also hit small jigs and small lures.
  • Crappie: Crappie were first found in Wabigoon Lake a few years ago. Since then they are becoming more and more common.
  • Deer: We are located in the heart of trophy whitetail country and 10 minutes out of Dryden, Ontario.
  • Black Bear: The terrain in our Bear Management Area is ideal for black bears. Overgrowth of softwood, grasses, logged areas and natural clear areas are all prime for raspberries to grow abundantly.
  • Moose: We don't have adult moose tags to offer but we do offer accommodations for people with their own tags. We are located in WMU 8 and are within 20 minutes of either WMU 5 or WMU 9A.
  • Grouse: We have many trails, logging roads and natural animal paths where you will experience some fantastic fall grouse hunting.
