Morson Lodges and Resorts
Morson, Ontario is located on the south end of famous Lake of the Woods. This area of Lake of the Woods is dotted with many islands. To reach Morson, take Highway 621 north from Highway 11. Morson is at the end of the road. You'll find a selection of drive-in resorts surrounding Morson. Many lodges are on the beautiful islands surrounding Morson. You can choose between housekeeping resorts and full-service American Plan Lodges. You can even get on the internet at some of the remote island lodges!
Lake of the Woods is teeming with many species of fish - walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout and crappie. The area is visited by many muskie fishermen, it's muskie heaven!
Morson Campgrounds
If you're planning on a camping trip to Ontario this summer, consider Morson. Some of the lodges in the area have RV sites for you to camp at. As Morson is located on the shores of Lake of the Woods, expect a secluded setting, a lot of wildlife, great fishing as well as many recreation options to choose from. Most sites are lakefront or very close to the shore. Choose from tent sites, fully serviced RV sites or partially serviced RV sites. Many campgrounds feature a central shower house with restrooms on site, fire pits and picnic tables. Often you'll have the benefit of using all of the camp facilities including a fish cleaning house, launching and landing private boats. If you aren't bringing your own boat, you can rent a boat from the resort.

Try staying right on Lake of the Woods. Take a cruise around the lake and pick out the places where you want to stay, stay at a beach (where permitted) or at your favourite fishing hole. Coming up with a party? Some houseboats will hold up to 12 people.
