Houseboating offers an unparalleled combination of excitement and memorable family experiences — cruise to a sandy beach where children can play to their heart’s content. Lake of the Woods boasts some of the finest beaches, with around 80 marked for our guests. With thousands of islands to explore, there’s no shortage of activities, including water skiing, tubing, crayfish gathering, hiking, canoeing, sunbathing, and reading. Our houseboats feature waterslides, a hit even among the “big kids.” As night falls, enjoy watching a breathtaking sunset, making a campfire, roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, or, if you are fortunate, witnessing the spectacular northern lights.
For anglers, long trips to favourite fishing spots are a thing of the past. With a houseboat, you can cast off from the back deck with your morning coffee in hand, enjoying calm waters and spectacular sunrise or cruise to the favourite fishing hole in our boat or your own. Either way, you enjoy the convenience of having your fishing spot just a splash away.
