Originally named Fort William Municipal Airport, Thunder Bay International Airport is a public airport located just off Highway 61 on Princess Street. The Thunder Bay International Airport is owned by Transport Canada and operated by Thunder Bay International Airports Authority which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the maintenance and operation of the airport.
