Johnston Park
Johnstons Park is located behind Chalet Inn Motel on the Wabigoon River. The park offers a picnic area, a beautiful Mosaic structure, and walking trails which lead to the Roy Wilson Suspension Bridge.
Dryden Ski Club
The Dryden Ski Club offers both cross-country, alpine skiing as well as snowboarding and features five downhill run's to enjoy for every level of ability. The Dryden Ski Club is located 15 km north of Dryden. From Highway 17, take Highway 601 north and then follow the signs. The cross country ski trails are open 7 days a week.
Cranberry Peat Land Interpretive Trail
Charleson Recreation Area
Located on the northern side of Atikokan and open seasonal to the public. Charleson Recreation Area offers something exciting for everyone from snowshoeing, snowmobiling horse riding, motor biking on motocross tracks, and endless mountain biking trails for all skills. There are also many events being hosted throughout the year and opportunity for canoeing, fishing at the many lakes in the area.
Centennial Park and Ski Trail
Cedar Falls Conservation Trails
The Cedar Falls Conservation Trails are located at the east end of Broome Road in O’Connor Township. The area offers 2 km of trails with easy terrain and a majestic view of the Cedar Falls Waterfall.
Ojibway Provincial Park
Ojibway Park located up Highway 72 just past Dryden is a tranquil and wild retreat on Little Vermilion Lake. Featuring a small campground offering fewer than 50 campsites, a beautiful sandy beach, good swimming and fantastic fishing for smallmouth bass. The park offers access to many different activities ensuring you fun throughout your entire stay. Reservations can be made online or by phone.
