Sir Winston Churchill Community Pool
The Sir Winston Churchill Community Pool offers recreational swimming, fitness classes, swimming lessons, birthday parties and group rentals. The pool is 25 meters long and 5 lanes wide, it also features a diving board. The facility also offers a swirl pool for the younger swimmers, a sauna, an accessible lift and 2 accessible family change rooms.
Dryden Recreation Complex
TThe Dryden Recreation Complex is a multi-purpose recreational facility which features an arena, pool with a waterslide, fitness centre, an indoor track as well as squash and racquetball courts. The Complex offers a variety of group exercise classes for all levels of fitness, scheduled hockey, skating sessions and public skating as well as a variety of other community-based athletic programming. The Complex also hosts a variety of Dryden's favourite events throughout the year, including Dryden's Annual Winter Festival and MooseFest.
Pronger Park
Pronger Park is a beautiful private location where you can spend the day in the shade of the many trees in the area. Offering a large green space it is perfect for a family gathering or catching up with friends. The park also features a playground, as well as biking, hiking, ski and snowshoe trails. The park is pet-friendly, with lots of room to play with your dog. Washrooms and waste bins are also available.
Bass Lake Park
Bass Lake Park is a public recreational park with a variety of activities to enjoy. The park includes a baseball field, playground, beach with volleyball sand court, picnic shelter, barbecue pit, outhouse bathrooms and hiking trails.
Keewatin Beach
Keewatin Beach, off of Beach Road is a nice public beach on Lake of the Woods. There are restrooms, change rooms, a picnic area, dock for drop-offs only, and a playground. The change rooms are wheelchair and stroller friendly but the beach is not.
Moncrief Construction Sports Centre
The Moncrief Construction Sports Center features a variety of fitness and recreational facilities as well as many outstanding programs that are sure to keep you fit and connected with the community. The facility includes an aquatic centre housing 3 various size pools, a waterslide, hot tub and sauna, fitness centre, walking track, and arena. The aquatic centre if fully accessible, and open to all ages and swim levels. Looking to stay fit and have fun doing so? Check out the fitness centre and various fitness programs offered weekly. In addition to staying fit and having fun the centre has also developed a variety of fun programs for children of all ages and abilities. Located outside you will find baseball fields, a 14,000 square foot skateboard park, basketball and tennis courts and a boat launch onto Lake of the Woods.
Point Park
Located on the shores of Rainy Lake, Point Park is the perfect location to enjoy countless hours of relaxation, recreation, fishing, swimming, and even some camping. Located on the park's office building you will find a map outlining all the outstanding amenities featured throughout the park, including tenting areas, RV campground, a beautiful sandy beach, playground, horseshoe pits, showers, barbecues, and restrooms. While exploring the beauty of the park be sure to stop and get an iconic picture in the 'Big Chair'. Docking is available within a mile from the park at Sorting Gap Marina as well as numerous stores, sports fields, ball diamonds, and other park areas.

Vickers Park
Vickers Park was the first park in the former City of Fort William, Vickers Park was donated in 1910 by Catherine Mary Vickers, daughter of pioneer author Susanna Moodie. The park has a popular children's play area, beautiful floral gardens which are a common site for wedding photos and is home to the Fort William Historic Event plaque.
