Jackfish Lake is part of the Clearwater-Pipestone chain of lakes and is close to the town of Emo, Ontario. This lake has excellent fishing for walleye, smallmouth, perch and northern pike. The many bays and numerous weed beds offer excellent cover, particularly for bass. It's not all that hard to find and catch walleye either - shore lunch awaits! Catching Fish on Jackfish Lake

Jackfish Lake offers anglers the opportunity to catch a lot of fish under the right conditions. It is interconnected with other lakes so the fishing around Jackfish Narrows where there is moving water can be particularly good at certain times of the year. For walleye, nothing can replace the success you'll get from using a simple jig and minnow but when you find a school of walleye, switching to a drop-shotting technique can increase your success rate. Small crankbaits and diving raps also work on the walleye. For smallmouth bass spinnerbaits and diving crankbaits will guarantee you success. Pike are relatively easy to catch no matter what you use. Don't overlook the great perch fishing this lake offers.
