Ignace is located on the Trans-Canada Highway about halfway between Kenora and Thunder Bay. There's a variety of lodging choices. You can find lodges in Ignace and on the surrounding lakes. By taking Highway 599 north from Ignace, you can access the English River System and Press Lake. Just past Silver Dollar, You'll find more resorts on Young Lake, Graystone Lake, and Sturgeon Lake. Heading west towards Dryden is spring fed Raleigh Lake. You have your choice of drive-in, boat-in or fly-in lodges in the area. Housekeeping packages and American Plan packages are available. For those that want a remote outpost cabin for your fishing trip, there are quite a few outposts lakes that you fly into from Ignace.

Some of the fly-in lakes are Birch Bay, Flindt, Gamble, Gault, Hilltop, Irene, Kawaweogama, Metionga, Nora, Seseganaga, Silver, Sunray, Tri, Two Lake and the Allanwater River System.

Campgrounds & RV Parks in Ignace

If you're planning a camping trip to Ontario, the Ignace area is a very picturesque area. You'll find Canadian campsites near the lake shores of the lakes surrounding Ignace. Some of the resorts in the Ignace/Savant Lake region offer tent and RV sites adjacent to their resort.
