Northwest Flying Inc. is a charter air service, located on Highway 71, one hour north of the International Falls border in Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Northwest Flying has been servicing the area for over 50 years. We offer flights to secluded lakes for day fishing as well as remote wilderness camping. Deluxe fly-in outpost camps are available on some of the best lakes in the area to fish for walleye, northern, muskie, bass and lake trout. - Outpost: We have five outpost cabins on five separate lakes. Our lakes are only a short distance away by air, 5 minutes to 20 minutes will get you to the lake of your choice.
- Walleye: Fly into one of our outposts lakes for some walleye fishing. You'll never have to worry about crowds and you can fish in complete seclusion for walleye.
- Northern Pike: Fish northern pike at our Cleftrock, Ajax, and Loonhaunt Lake outposts. From Cleftrock, there are also two portage lakes with northerns.
- Muskie: Kishkutena Lake is well known for producing several muskies in the 40" range. Our fly-in outpost at Kishkutena is our newest and most luxurious cabin.
- Lake Trout: Kishkutena is slightly tea coloured and anywhere from about 40 to 80 feet deep. In the deep sections of the lake, you can fish for lake trout.
- Smallmouth Bass: Fish for smallmouth bass at our fly-in outpost on Kishkutnena Lake. You can also do a fly-in day trip to Cameron, Otterskin, Asheigamo, Horseshoe or Carver Lakes
- Largemouth Bass: Largemouth bass are not as common as smallmouth but are caught in the waters of some of our outpost lakes.
