  • Cabin Rentals (Housekeeping): Our cabins are all fully modern with kitchens equipped with electric or propane stoves with ovens, dishes, coffee makers, toasters, eating and cooking utensils.
  • Walleye: Lake of the Woods provides some of the best walleye fishing in all of Canada. Crawfords Camp will make sure of the bait and where to find them.
  • Northern Pike: Northern pike are voracious predators and feeders. Some call the northern the 'ultimate predator'. With a body designed for speed.
  • Muskie: The first thing that muskie anglers need to know if they come to Lake of the Woods is an understanding of the seasonal movements of the fish.
  • Lake Trout: Towards the end of April, we generally have “ice out” and it’s time for some shallow water lake trout fishing.
  • Smallmouth Bass: Lake of The Woods is famous for smallmouth bass fishing. Smallmouth bass are common in the 1 to 4-pound range
  • Largemouth Bass: Largemouth bass are not as plentiful as smallmouth but the largemouth can get big with the odd 8-pounder being caught.
  • Crappie: Lake of the Woods is one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world. Here you will find an abundance of fish including crappie.
  • Perch: Fall fishing for perch resembles spring fishing. They move just off their spring shallow spots to bays and inlets.
  • Black Bear: The fall bear season opens on August 15 and by this time we have been feeding the bears for a few weeks.
  • Deer: We can provide you with some expertly guided deer hunts out on the islands that can get you an excellent hunting experience.
  • Wolf: For those that are interested in timberwolf hunts, the season is from September 15th to April 1st of the following year.
  • Grouse: During the day time, you can find some great grouse hunting on many of the old logging roads in the area.
  • Duck: We have a large flyway that runs through Lake of the Woods and allows for great evening and morning duck shoots.
  • Geese: We have a large flyway that runs through Lake of the Woods and allows for great evening and morning goose shoots.
