Meno Ya Win Health Centre

We are a fully accredited 60-bed hospital and a 20-bed extended care facility. We provide health services to all residents of Sioux Lookout and nearby areas, including Hudson, Pickle Lake, Savant Lake, and First Nation communities in our region. MenoYaWin means health and wellness in the Anishinaabe language. It represents complete wellness, focusing on healing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. We use a holistic approach to healthcare, allowing patients and families to combine traditional and modern medicine. We respect the cultural and linguistic needs of those who trust us with their care. At SLMHC, we offer a wide range of basic and specialized health services. These include diabetes care, stroke prevention, mental health counseling, addiction services, and both acute and outpatient programs.
