Max the Moose has been proudly standing at the Dryden Tourist Information Centre since July 19, 1962. Max is 18' (5.6 m)in height and weighs 2 tons. Though not the biggest moose in Canada, he is the oldest! Max stands in honour of his ancestors, cousins, and friends of the wilderness. This burly beast, with its head raised, captures the spirit of Sunset Country and Max would love to get his photo taken with you!
