Attractions and Activities in Ear Falls, Ontario

While many people flock to Ear Falls for its great fishing, there are plenty of other things to do and see in Ear Falls. You can go golfing at the Ear Falls Golf and Country Club and play 9 holes or use the area hiking, biking, and ATV trails. Pakwash Provincial Park has a beach, playground, boat launch, and camping facilities on the shores of Pakwash Lake. The Waterfront Park in Ear Falls has a beach, covered picnic area, playing field, and hosts the Trout Forest Music Festival each year. Hiking 
Pakwash Provincial Park, located 19 km north of Ear Falls, has a beautiful trail that winds through the woods, passes a beaver pond and crosses through a marsh. There are several plaques placed throughout the trail that provide information on a variety of the plant and wildlife that can be seen along the way.

Ear Falls Golf and Country Club 
A scenic 9 hole course on the shores of the English River. Carved from a healthy northern forest of spruce and pine, Ear Falls has rolling fairways and a few steep hills for added difficulty. A river affects play significantly on several fairways, and forces golfers to save their best play for the course's three finishing holes. The golf course also has a driving range, practice green, clubhouse, dining facilities, snack bar/coffee shop, Pro Shop, rentals and is also licensed.

Structured Public ATV Trails 
Rural trails are frequented by ATV drivers as well as the network of snowmobile trails surrounding Ear Falls, which are ideal for ATV drivers in the summer months.

Public Beaches 
Pakwash Provincial Park has 1.5 km of sandy beaches on the shore of shallow and warm Pakwash Lake. The Park also has a boat launch, both a covered and uncovered picnic area, a playground, and restroom facilities as well as tent and R.V. sites with full hookups available. 

Ear Falls Waterfront Park 
This park is located on the beautiful English River, has a sandy beach, a swimming dock, a covered picnic area, and a restroom facility with showers and change room.

Ear Falls Recreation Centre 
During the winter months, the Centre is home to a large ice rink used for broomball, hockey, figure skating, public skating and drop-in hockey. In the summer months, this area is used for basketball, shuffleboard, carpet bowling, badminton and floor hockey. Also offered is a fitness centre that is accessible 24 hours a day. The fitness centre has various cardio equipment for a good workout as well as free weights.

Cross Country Ski Trails
Spend some time enjoying winter on the excellent cross-country ski trails in Ear Falls! You can even rent skis at the Recreation Centre if you don't have any. The Township also has a trail map available for you - pick one up with your ski rental, or at the Municipal Office.
