Why You'll Love It
Fishing on Cygnet Lake can be defined with one word: awesome, fantastic, unbelievable - you choose. With the combination of shallow weedy bays, rock reefs, and many feeder streams, Cygnet Lake produces a large number of fish every year. Walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and perch are the prevalent species.
This private access lake is approximately 3500 acres with 12 islands. Easy enough to navigate on your own, but if you are interested a local guide is available for a daily fee. Did we mention there are several spots to pull over in the afternoon and prepare a shore lunch? Yum!

- Cabin Rentals (Housekeeping): We have 8 different cabins that sleep anywhere from 2 to 8 people. Most of the cabins overlook beautiful Cygnet Lake.
- Walleye: The poster child of Canadian, walleye fishing is extremely abundant in Cygnet Lake.
- Northern Pike: Northern pike are well populated due to the many resident baitfish and great lake composition. Northern pike range in size with the largest being 48” (since 2002).
- Smallmouth Bass: There is a decent amount of smallmouth bass in Cygnet Lake, but we recommend taking a day trip to one of the surrounding lakes for some serious bass fishing!
- Perch: There are tons of delicious perch in Cygnet Lake. The limits on perch are very high, so this is a great choice if you want to bring some fish back home with you.
- Black Bear: There are a large number of bear in our bear management area for your Canadian hunting trip.
