City of Dryden

Why You'll Love It

Central to just about everywhere in Sunset Country, Dryden is a critical service community for travelers and locals. Angling opportunities are available in many places around the city including Wabigoon, Dinorwic, and Eagle Lakes. These are all multi-species lakes offering spectacular fishing and the opportunity to catch a trophy fish of a lifetime.

Dryden has a robust retail and service sector so you can find just about anything you need in town. Enjoy the Winter Festival in February, during the Family Day weekend. Take your photo with the community's giant mascot, Max the Moose, which stands tall in front of the Visitor Information Centre, open year-round. The Dryden and District Museum has an incredible number of artifacts including a head mount of the famous 'Dryden Buck'. Explore the outdoor trails which can be used year-round on foot or with non-motorized equipment.
