It's only the end of January and we have already attended 4 of the 5 sports shows we are doing this year. We are happy to report that attendance at the shows has been brisk for the most part with only minor lulls here and there. For 2019, the Sunset Country booth was present at all 3 All Canada Shows and also the Minnesota Sportsmen's Show. We are also doing the Wisconsin Fishing Expo in February.
The number of Sunset Country guides flying off the tables has been great to see - we haven't seen interest like this by consumers at the shows in quite awhile. It is a very encouraging sign so let's hope this interest results in a decision to travel to Sunset Country in 2019!
The one thing I noticed this year was an increase in the number of people who have decided to visit Sunset Country (and Canada) for the first time. The new groups I spoke with were relatively large as well ranging from parties of 4 all the way up to 12 people. Congrats to the show organizers for doing a good job getting people out to the shows. I estimate we have distributed close to 4,500 guides at the shows so far!

Remember as a member of Sunset Country, your brochures are racked in the booth at each show we do and that service is included in the membership fee you pay. Of course, it's up to you to get them to us so we can distribute them. We sent out several notifications via eNewsletter in November and early December 2018 requesting you to send them to us and we had a lot of brochures at our booth so it looks like most of you heeded the call.
