At Gateway North Outfitters, we offer 9 fly-in fishing outposts and drive-in housekeeping cabins located 45 miles, just 1 hour, from Fort Frances, Ontario. Enjoy fishing for walleye, northern pike, muskie, lake trout, smallmouth bass, and crappie. We operate our own aircraft for your convenience and safety to ensure an excellent trip.
We specialize in running a smaller operation that gives serious attention to detail and is owner-operated. We also live in the area year round and offer trips for every season. Come see Off Lake, Sakwite Lake, Dogfly Lake, Grant Lake, Fishtrap Lake, Highrock Lake, Kinewan, Eric, Jones, and Trout (Otukamamoan) Lakes.

- Cabin Rentals (Housekeeping): Our housekeeping cabins located on Off Lake near Emo, Ontario are a great location for a family or fishing vacation.
- Outpost: For a fly-in walleye and smallmouth bass fishing trip, we have outpost cabins on such lakes as Grant, Dogfly, Sakwite, Jones, Eric, Fishtrap, Trout, Kinewan and Highrock for some great fishing.
- Walleye: Fly-in walleye fishing in Northwestern Ontario, Canada! Our remote outpost cabins offer excellent walleye fishing on Sakwite, Jones, Eric, Fishtrap, Trout, Kinewan and Highrock Lakes.
- Northern Pike: Enjoy pike fishing at any of our remote fly-in outposts on Grant, Dogfly, Fishtrap, Sakwite, Jones, Eric, Trout, Highrock, and Kinewan lakes.
- Muskie: Plan your Canadian fly-in outpost fishing trip to Grant where you will find some real trophy muskies.
- Smallmouth Bass: For fly-in smallmouth bass fishing trips, Dogfly, Grant, Fishtrap, Kinewan, Highrock, Jones, Eric, Trout, and Sakwite lake offer excellent fishing.
- Lake Trout: Fly-in to Dogfly, Grant, Trout and Sakwite for lake trout fishing, where you will find some of the best that Northwestern Ontario offers.
- Perch: Perch, a great panfish, is caught in nearly all the lakes in Northwestern Ontario and makes for a great shore lunch. Off Lake, our drive-to lake has excellent perch fishing.
- Crappie: Crappies are in good numbers and large sizes on Off Lake. Crappie fishing is available in the summer and ice fishing from our cabins on Off Lake.
- Black Bear: Black bear hunt in Northwestern Ontario at Gateway North Outfitter in Emo, Ontario where we offer pre-baited stands, semi-guided drive-in bear hunts from our cabins on Off Lake.
- Deer: The Emo and Dryden areas are known for trophy white-tailed deer. Plan your guided deer hunting trip to Canada and let us set up a hunt for you.
- Grouse: If you enjoy grouse hunting why not plan a fall fishing trip and enjoy both fishing and bird hunting at the same time in Northwestern Ontario.
- Wolf: We offer wolf hunts during the winter months for a limited number of hunters. All hunts are from heated blinds over bait.
